fine, in which case you will receive full feedback via an email.

Formatting: I am able to offer a formatting service and
ensure that your book is ready for creating the various formats you are
offering for sale.
I will, prior to content editing and included in the price,
do a tidy up of your manuscript in order to manage the edit. This will include
adding page breaks or scene breaks between legal pages, dedication or trademark
pages, chapters, about author pages or any other pages that are contained
within the manuscript as appropriate. I will also carry out various format
checks in order to ensure all is well for the start of the edit.
This will not be a ready to publish format but rather makes
the edit easier for me to complete. Should you wish that I do not apply this
tidy up then please let me know and I will make no alterations other than to
edit your book.

Content edit: the
edit will cover
structure, language/ terminology, style, presentation, plot holes, consistency,
choreography, characterization, pacing, world building, fact checking, grammar,
head-hopping/point of view hops, dealing with clichés, similes and metaphor use, consistency of detail/
tone for a series, etymology, timeline checks, raise any potential legal
issues, trademarks acknowledgement.
I will advise you at the outset as to how long I think the
content edit will take. There may be one or two or potentially three rounds
dependent on the work involved. If I believe the third round of edits is needed
I will notify you in advance after the first round of edits are received back
from you to ensure that you would wish this to proceed as this will incur an
additional cost.
I will work with you in a Word document via track changes
and comment boxes noting any errors, suggestions or comments. Feel free to
reply to any points raised in the same way.

$0.0046 per word based on current exchange rates which may be subject to
amendment.
Final line edits:
the edit will include language,
syntax, word choice, repeated words, sentence structure and phrases, tenses,
punctuation, html code use, independent body parts, characteristic consistency.
These edits will
also be carried out in the Word document via track changes in much the same way
with a gap between content edit and final line edit if proceeding with the full
editing package. This is to ensure that the manuscript is fresh to me and
enable me to view the work objectively again—can’t see the wood for the trees
springs to mind!
Cost: £0.0018/ $0.0024 per word based
on current exchange rates which may be subject to amendment.
Proof reading: a full read through of the manuscript to
include noting any errors, spelling mistakes, missing words, tenses,
punctuation. Again, if using the full editing process the proof read will
happen a few days after the final line edit to ensure that the manuscript is as
clean as possible before returning your book to you.
Cost: £0.0009/ $0.0012 per word based on current
exchange rates which may be subject to amendment.
